RVA LEADS Joins Gap Year Fairs

The leading national circuit of events dedicated to informing students and parents about gap year programs is about to kickoff. And RVA LEADS will be attending many of these events across the country as we connect with students to form our next class. Gap Year Fairs has grown from just seven events to 39 events nationwide in a short period of time. Increasingly, colleges, parents, high school students and community leaders are recognizing the impact that an effective gap year experience can have on a young adult. And the GAP Year Fairs are a great way to learn about different programs and hear from speakers on the benefits of taking a gap year before going to college full-time or entering the job market.

A gap year is a transitional season – typically falling in-between high school graduation and the start of college – where young adults develop new skills and interests to prepare them for college or career. These experiences take place outside of traditional classroom and may involve some international travel or cross cultural experiences.

RVA LEADS, a gap year discipleship school serving Christian young adults, is glad to be joining these events scattered across the United States. The LEADS program includes training from compelling speakers, life coaching, leadership development, local outreach and an international mission adventure in Africa. LEADS is cost effective and offers a flexible schedule.

Our team will be meeting face-to-face with prospective students and will share about what makes RVA LEADS unique. To find out more about the events or to register, visit https://usagapyearfairs.org/fairs/
