LEADS Life

You don’t have to wait until you know all the answers to the big questions you have for your life before you can change the world for the better.

RVA LEADS is an extraordinary program that will flourish your life, relationship with Christ, ministerial capacity and leadership skills. Become a thriving and successful young adult, with a clear trajectory for the next phase of your life.

By taking the time to join our team, learn from our spiritual mentors and minister to the outlying Richmond, Virginia community and beyond, you’ll be ready to face the real world and all the challenges it poses. You don’t have to go through this season unequipped or without the backing of a strong Christian community.

The RVA LEADS is an annual “gap-year” program, geared to grow your relationship with Christ, develop your personal strengths, and allow your talents and spiritual gifts to thrive!

In the span of less-than one year (running from late-October to the end of June) in the RVA LEADS program, you’ll plug into a rich family-like cohort that loves Christ, and your talents will develop into your calling.

Commit to RVA LEADS, and experience a unique and flexible program. You’ll be empowered to create your own schedules, live in community housing or make your own living arrangements, and pursue the talents and skills you want to see grow.

Throughout the Year, RVA LEADS Students Will:

  • Engage in a community with other Christian leaders.
  • Undergo weekly classroom training with our distinguished teachers.
  • Take ownership of your faith-walk and discipline as a Christ-follower.
  • Participate in local outreach, evangelism and community service opportunities.
  • Develop leadership and other practical skills necessary for a fulfilling career in the workforce or ministry.
